1. Acceptance
By creating an account or using ChoresFlow ("Service"), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service. You must be at least 18 years old to create an account.
2. The service
ChoresFlow provides a family chore management platform with a points and rewards system, Islamic prayer time schedule integration, and family dashboard tools. We offer a free trial followed by a paid subscription.
3. Your account
- You are responsible for keeping your password secure.
- You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.
- You must provide accurate information when creating your account.
- One account per household. Do not share accounts between unrelated families.
4. Subscription, billing, and refunds
- ChoresFlow offers monthly ($4.99/mo) and annual ($39/yr) plans after a free trial. A free tier is always available for one child profile.
- Billing is handled by Stripe. Your card is charged at the start of each billing period.
- Auto-renewal: paid plans renew automatically at the end of each billing period (monthly or yearly) at the then-current price, and your card is charged automatically, until you cancel. You do not need to buy the plan again each period.
- How to cancel: cancel any time from Parent settings → Billing, or through the Stripe billing portal. Cancellation stops future charges and takes effect at the end of the period you have already paid for — you keep full access until then, after which your account returns to the free tier.
- Refunds: payments are for the current billing period and are generally non-refundable, and we do not provide automatic prorated refunds for time left in a period after you cancel. That said, we want you to be happy — if you were charged in error, never used a period you paid for, or are unsatisfied, email us within 14 days of the charge and we will review a full or partial refund in good faith.
- Nothing in this section limits any non-waivable refund or cancellation rights you have under the consumer laws of your country or state.
- If you subscribe through a mobile app store (for example Google Play or the Apple App Store), that store processes the payment and its own refund policy applies; refund requests for those purchases must go through the store.
- We reserve the right to change prices with at least 30 days' notice to active subscribers.
5. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Use the Service for any unlawful purpose.
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Service.
- Scrape, copy, or redistribute any part of the Service without permission.
- Impersonate any person or entity.
6. Children
ChoresFlow is intended for use by parents and guardians on behalf of their children. Children access the Service only through family profiles created and managed by the account holder. The account holder is responsible for ensuring appropriate use by minors in their household.
7. Intellectual property
All content, features, and functionality of ChoresFlow — including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, and software — are the exclusive property of ChoresFlow and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. Your family's data remains yours.
8. Disclaimer of warranties
The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of viruses.
9. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, ChoresFlow shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability to you shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.
10. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms. You may delete your account at any time from your account settings. Upon termination, your data will be deleted within 30 days.
11. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States. Any disputes shall be resolved through binding arbitration, except that either party may seek injunctive relief in a court of competent jurisdiction.
12. Changes to these terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated by email or in-app notice at least 14 days before taking effect. Continued use of the Service after changes constitute acceptance of the new Terms.
